      I think it is not possible to replace all coke in blast furnace Coke has many roles in blast furnace Heat generation for the reactions, Alloying element, Charge Burden carrier etc.

      No, it is not possible. We can not replace all coke in the blast furnace bcoz coke has many imp roles in the b/f.coke is known as the heart of the b/f. We can replace coal means we can replace pulverized coal which is supplied in the tuyere zone. In place of pulverized coal we can use preheated air.Read more

      No, it is not possible. We can not replace all coke in the blast furnace bcoz coke has many imp roles in the b/f.coke is known as the heart of the b/f.

      We can replace coal means we can replace pulverized coal which is supplied in the tuyere zone. In place of pulverized coal we can use preheated air. So replacement of coal in the f/c is possible but replacement of coke is not possible.
