Considering eutectoid composition (0.77 wt% carbon) of steel. 50% Bainite and 50% martensite can be formed by rapidly cooling below the nose of the TTT curve, holding for some time and the quenching rapidly to below the martensite finish temperature.

With reference to TTT diagram , first rapid cooling is done upto just above Martensite start temperature and held there. This has to be done taking care cooling rate doesn't cross the nose. 2.) 2.) Now in this Bainite range the specimen is held till center line of nose or say 50 % , so as to get 50% Bainite by diffusion .
3.) Now after reaching this point again rapid cooling is done as in the case of Martensite transformation.
This gets us 50% Bainite and 50% Martensite.
