Answer is C
Isothermal compressibility is represented by letter k.
Isothermal: Constant temperature
Compressibility means a relative change in volume of fluid or a solid under application of pressure i.e -(delta v/v)*1/p [ delta v= change in volume , v= volume, p= pressure]
Negative sign is because, as it is a compression process delta-v is negative and v is a positive quantity. So to make the entire term positive it is multiplied with a negative sign.

Answer is C.
Variation of volume with pressure at constant temperature is isothermal compressibility.
Process being isothermal means it is performed at constant temperature. Negative sign is to compensate for decrease in volume.
There is one more parameter in thermodynamics known as isobaric cofficient of thermal expansion (alpha) which is variation of volume with temperature at constant pressure.
