When a tensile test is done on a metal piece, one can consider two ways one theoretical and other True SS curves sometimes called a practical SS curve. In the latter case during practical deformation, there is an issue called blow holes in the material. This causes the actual volume of material to differ from the considered volume of material. Moreover, all the calculations done are in consideration with the rule of volume constancy, which is not obeyed when blow holes exist. These blowholes shut down during deformation and volume does nor remain constant (it changes). So as to overcome this a correction factor is considered and the new true SS curve plotted considering this factor is called the Corrected True SS curve, else called uncorrected True SS curve.

According to my view corrected one leads to theoretical plastic deformation and numerical simulations under large amount of strain which is not available in incorrect one. Any type of corrections will be welcomed.
